Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device where the whole image displayed on a display region can be easily viewed, even when a shield exists between an observer and the display device.SOLUTION: The display device includes a display panel 12 having a display region 26, a panel control part 28 displaying an image in the display region 26, and a detection part 18 detecting a shield 40 located in front of the display region 26. The panel control part 28 includes a first generation part 44 setting a first display region 26a having a display area smaller than that of the display region 26 to a position avoiding the shield 40 overlapping with the display region 26, when the display region 26 is viewed from the front, when the detection part 18 detects the shield 40.
