Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of heat-treating a metal pipe which can suppress bending and scratches without deteriorating coloration or production efficiencies, and to provide a metal pipe that is heat-treated and a vacuum heat treatment furnace for the metal pipe to use for heat-treating.SOLUTION: A method of heat-treating a metal pipe is characterized by mounting metal pipes 1 to be contained in a vacuum heat treatment furnace on a plurality of beams 22 arranged at intervals of 200-2,500 mm in the longitudinal direction and treating with heat. In mounting the metal pipes 1 on the beams 22, the metal pipes 1 may be mounted on the beams with spacers between them. The method of heat-treating metal pipes preferably uses beams having a convex upper surface or spacers having a convex upper surface, leading to further suppression of scratches.
