X-RAY CT APPARATUS AND PROGRAM THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow correction of the displacement of a top board even when the top board is off from a planned position when finishing scanning due to an irregular movement in reciprocation of the top board or the like.SOLUTION: An X-ray CT apparatus includes bed driving means, setting means, determination means and control means. The bed driving means reciprocates the top board along the direction of the body axis of an analyte. The setting means sets an imaging range of helical scanning in the body axis direction. The determination means determines whether the position of the top board coincides with a planed post-scanning position when the helical scanning within the set imaging range reaches one end. The control means controls the bed driving means to move the position of the top board to the planned post-scanning position when the result of determination by the determination means shows that it does not coincide.
