DISPLAY DEVICE, DISPLAY METHOD, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of having the generated power, power consumption, the degree of sold/purchased power, and the degree of environment load intuitively recognized by a user by displaying, using a non-numerical image, the generated power, power consumption, and the degree of sold/purchased power in a photovoltaic power generation system.SOLUTION: A display device comprises: a receiving unit for receiving information indicating generated power and the sold/purchased power transmitted from a photovoltaic power generation system for generating power with sunlight and selling excess power and buying wanted power in cooperation with a utility AC grid connected to a load; a storage unit for storing a plurality of first images, second images, and third images; an image selection unit for selecting a first image, a second image, and a third image from among the plurality of first images, second images, and third images, according to the generated power and sold/purchased power indicated by the received information; and an image display unit for displaying an image which includes the first image, second image, and third image selected by the image selection unit and indicates the operating status of the photovoltaic power generation system.
