VEHICLE ACCIDENT PREDICTION (DANGEROUS TRAVELING VEHICLE DETECTION) DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dangerous vehicle detection device capable of comprehensively detecting a vehicle which is likely to cause an accident from among traveling vehicles.SOLUTION: A dangerous vehicle detection device 1 installed at an upstream side in a vehicle traveling direction of a maintenance work site M on a vehicular traffic road includes: a detection unit 2; and an alarm unit 3. The detection unit 2 is configured to grasp the behavior of each vehicle which travels in a predetermined monitoring object region at the upstream side in the vehicle traveling direction of the maintenance work site M, and to learn the normal behavior of the vehicle in the monitoring object region, and to detect the vehicle showing the behavior which deviates from the learnt normal behavior as a dangerous vehicle. Also, the detection unit 2 is configured to, when detecting the dangerous vehicle, generate an alarm signal, and to wirelessly transmit the alarm signal to the alarm unit 3, and the alarm unit 3 is configured to, when receiving the alarm signal, issue a predetermined alarm.
