PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum lift device excellent in assemblability, maintainability, and durability.SOLUTION: A vacuum lift device 100 comprises: a cylinder 1; a piston 2 slidably disposed in the cylinder 1; a suction pad 6 stuck to a surface of a transported object M, and sucking the transported object M and detaching the sucked transported object M according to drive of the piston 2; a valve device 11 allowing or blocking introduction of ambient air into a vacuum chamber 24 formed by an inner surface of the suction pad 6 and the surface of the transported object M; and a valve switch mechanism 41 automatically switching air pressure in the vacuum chamber 24 between a vacuum state and a normal pressure state by opening or closing the valve device 11 every time the piston 2 is hung up and down. The valve device 11 and the valve switch mechanism 41 are disposed outside of the cylinder 1, and switching operation of a valve mechanism provided on the valve device 11 is performed by using a pressing member 4 operating with the piston 2 in an integrated manner.
