PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce waste of product disposal when an abnormality occurs during operation, and after supply of a container is stopped, the operation is restarted.SOLUTION: A container feeding device includes: a screw 31 for causing a container to engage with a spiral groove, and sending the container P to a container processing device 4; speed of rotation detection means 4e for detecting a speed of rotation of a rotation part of the container processing device 4; and a control device 10. During a normal operation, the control device 10 controls a rotational speed so that the screw 31 rotates in synchronization with the container processing device 4, and, when an operation is restarted, performs control so that the screw 31 introduces the container P at a rotational speed slower than the normal rotational speed, and the speed is accelerated to the rotational speed corresponding to the normal rotational speed of the container processing device 4 by the time the first container P reaches the delivery point of the inlet part of the container processing device 4.
