Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress lowering of a binding force due to a metal hoop in a sliding nozzle plate in which the metal hoop is provided along in a circumferential direction of an outer peripheral side surface of a sliding nozzle plate body made of a refractory material.SOLUTION: A sliding nozzle plate has a region, in which a heat insulation material 4 is provided, between an outer peripheral side surface of a sliding nozzle plate body 2 and a metal hoop 4. The metal hoop 3 is linear in a circumferential direction of the outer peripheral side surface of the sliding nozzle plate body 2 in the region in which the heat insulation material 4 is provided, and the outer peripheral side surface of the sliding nozzle plate body 2 and the metal hoop 3 directly contact to each other in a region other than the region in which the heat insulation material 4 is provided.
