PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separation device for a mixed liquid and a separation method for the mixed liquid which exhibit excellent separation accuracy and can separate the mixed liquid at low energy and high efficiency.SOLUTION: A separation device 100 for a mixed liquid includes a separator 16 on a downstream side in a discharge direction of a discharge pipe 24 to which a gas-liquid mixed fluid is discharged. In the gas-liquid mixed fluid, at least a first liquid is gasified out of a mixed liquid containing at least the first liquid and a second liquid having a higher boiling point than the first liquid. The separator 16 separates the second liquid from mixed gas by centrifugal force. A guide part 52, which turns a flow of the mixed gas downward, is arranged in a position where the mixed gas flows in from the discharge pipe 24 inside the separator 16. A discharge pipe 26 is arranged above the separator 16.
