PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device to automatically determine and display an alternative multimedia service to enable in appropriate cases where alternative services may be available.SOLUTION: An opportunity can arise while a user is engaging in a first multimedia service on a personal electronic device 202. A trigger can have the first multimedia service changed to an alternative service on the basis of the opportunity. Upon completion of the opportunity, there can be an automatic return to the first service or a request to the user on how to leave the opportunity. In addition, a notice can be transferred to the user that the opportunity is coming to an end soon or has ended, and a request can be made for the user to determine how to proceed from the opportunity.
