CURABLE COMPOSITION CONTAINING SILICONE AND CURED PRODUCT OF SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curable composition which, in dehydration condensation of silicone when the composition is cured into a cured product under a heating condition, suppresses vaporization and foaming of by-produced water in the cured product and, in addition when made into a cured film, provides excellent adhesion to a base material such as a semiconductor substrate.SOLUTION: Provided is a curable composition including a silicone (A) of a specific structure and constitution having a Si-OH group and a Si-H group, a silicone (B) of a specific structure and constitution having a Si-OH group and a Si-CH=CHgroup, and a catalytic amount of hydrosilylation catalyst containing at least one metal compound selected from the group comprising a platinum compound, a palladium compound and a rhodium compound. Foaming in a cured body is suppressed by adjusting the kind of each silicone and the content of Si-OH group and thereby, when the silicone is cured, suppressing a dehydration condensation reaction between the Si-OH groups than a hydrosilylation reaction between the Si-CH=CHgroup and the Si-H group.
