CONCENTRATED STATE ESTIMATION SYSTEM, ESTIMATION DEVICE, WRITING INSTRUMENT, ESTIMATION METHOD, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and precisely estimate a user's concentrated state.SOLUTION: A pen type device PD is provided with plural sensors, and the measurement data items are wirelessly transmitted to a personal computer PC. The personal computer PC compares the values of the measurement data items, which are sent from the pen type device PD, with a pre-set threshold range, and determines whether the measurement data values fall within or outside the threshold range. The personal computer PC also associates the measurement data values with three elements of tension, awakening, and immersion which define a concentrated state of a person, and increases or decreases the values of the three elements, with which the measurement data values are associated, according to the result of the comparison of the measurement data values with the threshold range. A vector is then produced by mapping the three element values of tension, awakening, and immersion into a three-dimensional space, and a concentrated state is estimated based on the values of the vector.
