COMMUNICATION DEVICE, COMMUNICATION METHOD AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform transmission and reception of data between different applications without an exchange before data transmission.SOLUTION: A communication unit 13 transmits/receives communication data 17 to/from another communication device 10. A storage unit 14 stores a conversion rule 16 for mutually converting a data code and format between the communication data 17 and a data object 15 handled by an application 11. A conversion unit 12 is independent from the application 11 and mutually performs conversion between the communication data 17 and the data object 15 according to the conversion rule 16. When transmitting the data object 15, the conversion unit 12 converts the data object 15 into the communication data 17 not depending on another communication device 10 according to the conversion rule 16 defined by the application 11 handling the data object 15. When receiving the communication data 17, the conversion unit 12 converts the communication data 17 into the data object 15 according to the conversion rule 16.
