PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foamed product which has a peak acoustic absorption performance in a low frequency band and, furthermore, can suppress deterioration of acoustic absorption performance in a high frequency band.SOLUTION: There is provided a foamed product 1A comprising foam cells S2 and S3 obtained by foaming mixtures of a pulp fiber component, a synthetic resin component, and a starch component as an auxiliary substance, and having a lot of spaces formed. The foam cells S2 and S3 constitute: foam cell layers 3, 3A, and 3B; and surface film layers 2A and 2B which are arranged on surface sides of the foam cell layers 3A and 3B and formed by dense arrangement of the foam cells S2 having higher foam density than the foam cell layer 3. At least one of the surface film layers 2A and 2B is scraped off entirely.
