ELECTRIC STEERING DEVICE AND INSTALLATION METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric steering device capable of preventing excessive load from being applied to a gear mechanism for transmitting rotation of a rotation shaft of an electric motor to an upper end of a rudder head forming a steering.SOLUTION: The electric steering device comprises: at least one electric motor 21, 22: an output shaft 24 coupled to an upper end of a rudder head forming a steering; a gear mechanism 23 for transmitting rotation of rotation shafts 21a, 22a of the electric motors 21, 22 to the output shaft 24; and a lower casing 41a for storing the gear mechanism 23. In a hole 26 of the lower casing 41a into which the output shaft 24 is inserted, at least two bearings 27 for supporting the output shaft 24 so as to rotate freely are disposed separated each other by a predetermined distance in a shaft direction.
