POWER SUPPLY/DEMAND MANAGEMENT DEVICE AND POWER SUPPLY/DEMAND MANAGEMENT METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate contribution of a user to demand response.SOLUTION: A power supply/demand management device includes: an acquisition unit for acquiring an available supply power value and a captive power consumption value from each of a plurality of distribution type power supply devices existing in a predetermined region, where the available supply power value is power the distribution type power supply device can supply and the captive power consumption value is power consumed by a user having the distribution type power supply device from electric energy supplied from the distribution type power supply device; a storage unit for storing the available supply power value and captive power consumption value acquired by the acquisition unit; and an operation unit which calculates a surplus electric energy fluctuation rate showing a time fluctuation rate of surplus electric energy related to a distribution type power supply device on the basis of difference between the available supply power value and captive power consumption value stored in the storage unit, and estimates surplus electric energy capable of being supplied from the plurality of distribution type power supply devices existing in the predetermined region on the basis of the surplus electric energy fluctuation rate calculated for each of the plurality of distribution type power supply devices.
