TRAFFIC CONTROL SYSTEM, AND TRAFFIC CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control traffic according to a communication content with suppressed processing quantity of information analysis of the communication content of upper-layer information included in a packet.SOLUTION: In a traffic control system 10, at the transmission of a packet pt1, an identifier i5 obtained by an edge router 14a according to the packet pt1 is added to the packet pt1, so as to be transmitted to core routers 11a-11h. After the above transmission, the core routers 11a-11h detect the identifier i5 added to the received packet pt1, to successively perform traffic control associated with the identifier i5. An edge router 14b which is located at an exit of a packet network, removes the identifier i5 from the packet pt1 having the added identifier i5, and thereafter transfers the packet pt1 to the outside of the packet network.
