Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superconducting coil employing a helical dislocation system, the superconducting coil being improved such that circulation current is reduced to the lowest possible degree by equalizing by simple means the dislocation length of a helical dislocation part formed at a certain point on the winding path of the coil conductor of the superconducting coil.SOLUTION: A superconducting coil is formed by winding a coil conductor 10 around a coil spool 20, the coil conductor 10 being formed from four or more superconducting element wires (for example, eight wires) arranged in many parallel lines. In the coil conductor 10, a plurality of superconducting element wires are arranged in the radial direction RA and axial direction AX of the coil (for example, four wires are arranged in two parallel lines), and a helical dislocation (dislocated part TP) is caused at a certain point in the winding path. In the superconducting coil, spacers (insulation materials) 30 for positioning dislocations are disposed at equal intervals along the winding path of the coil conductor 10 between the axially arranged superconducting element wires so as to correspond to the dislocated parts TP in the helical dislocation. On the basis of the spacers 30, the superconducting element wires are helically dislocated between adjacent spacers 30.
