Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent electrical corrosion without forming an electric insulation layer.SOLUTION: A fuel battery comprises: plural manifolds 72a-72c for a cooling medium provided near one side of an outer periphery of a separator and having a rectangular opening shape; a gasket provided at an outer portion than the manifold near the outer periphery of the separator, and contacting adjacent single cells during lamination so as to form a seal line LS5 for restraining leakage of the cooling medium; flanges 82a-82c provided along three sides except for one side near a membrane electrode assembly out of four rectangular sides of each manifold, and contacting the adjacent single cells during lamination; and spacers 92, 94, provided between two adjacent manifolds, respectively contacting the flange provided to one manifold and the flange provided to the other manifold, and contacting the adjacent single cells during lamination.
