PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which suppresses generation of sliding noise during changing a nip pressure between a heating member and a pressure member, and is capable of stabilizing the nip pressure.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1 comprises: a first arm member 51 including a fixation shaft 55 having a first contact part 51a; a second arm member 52 having a second contact part 52a; an elastic member 53 pressing the first contact part 51a and the second contact part 52a in directions which separate them from each other; a roll 61 provided in the second arm member 52; an eccentric cam 62 contacting with the roll 61; and a rotation connection shaft 63 having the eccentric cam 62 fixed thereto. The second arm member 52 has a through-hole 52d provided thereon to allow for the insertion of the fixation shaft 55 therethrough, and the through-hole 52d has a bearing member 56 provided to support the fixation shaft 55.
