Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder head gasket capable of forming a water hole on a position adjacent to a combustion chamber hole in comparison with a conventional one.SOLUTION: A cylinder head gasket 1 includes combustion chamber hole beads 2a, 3a, and water hole beads 2b, 3b. The combustion chamber hole beads and the water hole beads are formed to have a trapezoidal cross-sectional shape, an inclined plane at one side of the trapezoidal cross-sectional shape is applied as the combustion chamber hole beads 2a, 3a, and an inclined plane at the other side is applied as the water hole beads 2b, 3b. A height H1 of the inclined plane of the combustion chamber hole bead is determined to be higher than a height H2 of the inclined plane of the water hole bead, and/or a width W1 of the inclined plane of the combustion chamber hole bead is determined to be narrower than a width W2 of the inclined plane of the water hole bead. As the inclined plane at one side of the trapezoidal cross-sectional shape is applied as the combustion chamber hole bead, and the inclined plane at the other side is applied as the water hole bead, the combustion chamber hole 5 and the water hole 8 can be formed on positions adjacent to each other in comparison with a case when the combustion chamber hole beads and the water hole beads are individually formed. Further a surface pressure of the combustion chamber hole bead and a surface pressure of the water hole bead can be respectively set to optimum surface pressures. |
