LOOP SEWING DEVICE AND SEWING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cheap loop sewing device attachable to a sewing machine without a loop function by a simple method.SOLUTION: A loop sewing device 1 comprises: a needle bar 3 which a sewing needle 2 is attached to the bottom end; a cloth presser foot 4 having a first through-hole 41 which a sewing needle 2 passes through when the needle bar 3 moves vertically and consisted to move vertically in conjunction with the needle bar 3; and a guide member 7 having a second through-hole 71 which embroidery thread 9 used for loop sewing passes through and which is fixed to a sewing machine main body 101 for guiding the embroidery thread 9 to the first through-hole 41 with an axis of the first through-hole 41 slanted.
