PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of removing odor and the like contained in indoor air when passing through an indoor unit ventilation passage.SOLUTION: An air conditioner includes: a suction port for sucking indoor air; a heat exchanger for heat-exchanging with the indoor air sucked from the suction port; an outlet for blowing out the indoor air heat-exchanged in the heat exchanger; a blower fan for blowing the indoor air along an air passage formed from the suction port toward the outlet; a plasma generator located inside the air passage, having a high-voltage electrode, an earth electrode provided in the high-voltage electrode via a dielectric body and a voltage application device for applying a voltage to the high-voltage electrode, and for generating plasma by applying a voltage to the high-voltage electrode; and an electrostatic atomizer located in the air passage, having an atomization electrode and a voltage application device for applying a voltage to the atomization electrode and for discharging fine water droplets charged by applying a voltage to the atomization electrode.
