GAS FILLING DEVICE AND GAS FILLING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fill a gas without needing a booster pump, to miniaturize a device, and to shorten a filling time.SOLUTION: A gas filling device 11 for filling a filling container 12 with a vaporized gas to have a prescribed pressure, includes a temporary storage heat-insulating container 14 having a heat insulating function and storing a liquefied gas of an amount corresponding to a state to fill the filling container 12 with the vaporized gas of the prescribed pressure at a normal temperature, and a communication passage 15 connecting a fluid outlet 14a of the temporary storage heat-insulating container 14 and a fluid inlet 12a of the filling container 12 to be used as a passage to introduce a hydrogen gas from the temporary storage heat-insulating container 14 to the filling container 12. The communication passage 15 includes opening and closing means 15a, 15b for opening and closing the fluid outlet 14a and the fluid inlet 12a, an introducing vaporizing portion 15f including buffer means 21 for relaxing force of a passing gas flow, and a warming portion 22 having a temperature to vaporize liquefied hydrogen, and an attaching/detaching portion 15c for separably connecting the filling container 12.
