Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress rise of a primary pressure in accompany with gear change by suppressing gear change at an early timing in starting and accelerating, even when a continuously variable shift mode and a multistage shift mode are selectively switched.SOLUTION: A TCU (transmission control unit) 43 sets a shift mode to a multistage shift mode (S4) in detecting start of a vehicle or an accelerating operation after the start (S2, S3), and fixes a transmission ratio to one speed as a maximum transmission ratio of the multistage shift mode (S5). By fixing the shift ratio in starting and accelerating, to the maximum shift ratio, up-shifting at an early timing in start and accelerating, is suppressed.
