Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soil modifier capable of suppressing deterioration in generation efficiency caused by a sunlight panel.SOLUTION: The soil modifier being the shreds of the bark of one or more kinds of trees selected from Cryptomeria japonica, cypress and cypress, and is mixed into the installation part of the sunlight panel in a sunlight power plant and soil in the periphery thereof. In the earth modifier, the length of the shreds of the bark is 1 to 100 mm. Further, in the earth modifier, the bark is carbonized by being heated in an anaerobic state or a low oxygen state.
