COIL LIFTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate vibration (chattering noise) which is generated when performing an arm opening operation under the absence of load in a link type coil lifter.SOLUTION: In a coil lifter 10, a screw shaft is revolved to vertically move a nut which is threaded to the screw, the movement of the nut is transferred to a pair of arms 26, 26 via a link mechanism including parallel links 24, 24 and main links 25, 25 and the pair of arms are moved for opening/closing. The parallel links and the main links are bridged by a tension coil spring 32, such that the pair of arms are energized in a closing direction at all the time. Thus, vibration (chattering noise) which is generated during an arm opening operation under the absence of load can be eliminated.
