PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water purifier capable of abating abrasions of a protrusion or depression for engagement occurring as a result of mobilizing operations of a mobile cartridge exchange timing display component fitted to the handle of a water purifier.SOLUTION: In a water purifier 4 including: a body container 11 possessing a body container handle; and a cartridge exchange timing display component fitted to the body container handle and mobile along the longitudinal direction thereof, the cartridge exchange timing display component includes: a fitting groove formation unit formed so as to at least partially cover the body container handle; a protrusion or depression for engagement formed on the inner surface of the fitting groove formation unit; and a cartridge exchange timing display component gripping unit formed on the outer surface of the fitting groove formation unit, whereas, on the side of the gripping unit where the protrusion or depression for engagement is formed when viewed from the engagement groove side, a slit is configured atop a straight line linking the gripping unit and the protrusion or depression for engagement.
