ANIMAL LEASH CONNECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive animal leash connector capable of preventing careless disconnection without addition of a component or with addition of only one easily-mountable component.SOLUTION: A lock member 12 having a cut-off part 11 is detachably mounted on the outer periphery of a base part 2 over at least its semicircle accompanied by elastic widening of the cut-off part 11 and restoration thereafter. In the mounted state, an engaging pin is locked in a closed state by preventing the retreating operation of a propping operation part in an axial direction between a hooking part 13 on the connection end side of the base part 2 and an operating part 7, and at least either is included, between a notch part 15a where a locking end side abutment part 13 which is a propping part is hooked together with a rising connecting part 7a from the engaging pin 8 of the operating part 7 in the right-left direction, and an inward projection 17 which enters a slide groove 16 allowing the rising connecting part 7a to slide in the retreating operation direction along the peripheral wall of the base part 2 and is hooked therewith in the right-left direction.
