PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an engine of a binder that reaps grain culms and binds them to be stopped quickly, thereby improving safety of reaping work.SOLUTION: In a binder which includes a reaping and binding part (5) on a front part side of a traveling vehicle body (3) equipped with right and left travelling wheels (2 and 2), and an engine (6) on a rear part side of the travelling vehicle body (3), and in which an operation handle (7) extends above the engine (6) from the travelling vehicle body (3) side to the rear side, an engine stop switch (12) for stopping the engine (6) is arranged at a lateral side handle frame (7R) located on the lateral side of the operation handle (7). Also, the engine stop switch (12) is arranged at the back of a reaping operation panel (11) having a reaping clutch lever (10) that connects or cuts off the power transmission from the engine (6) to the reaping and binding part (5).
