Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speed control method for retreat traveling and a vehicle, which is driven by parallely connected battery blocks, capable of preventing a normal battery block from being overcharged by regenerative power during retreat traveling in which an abnormal battery block part is disconnected.SOLUTION: A speed control method for retreat traveling includes: step S1 of determining whether or not the vehicle is in a retreat traveling state, in which the vehicle is driven while a part of a plurality of parallelly connected battery blocks is disconnected; step S2 of calculating, at the time of retreat traveling, regenerative power acceptable for the battery block to be used for driving the vehicle; step S3 of calculating a speed limit of the vehicle so that the regenerative power during braking the vehicle does not exceed the acceptable regenerative power on the basis of the calculated acceptable regenerative power; and step S4 of controlling the vehicle speed not to exceed the speed limit.
