Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method that makes it possible to obtain a useful motor that enhances prevention of disconnection of crossover by ensuring a substantially long play margin for the crossover, without causing any troubles for a wire connection operation.SOLUTION: The insulator 32 of a commutator 30 has an annular chamfer part 37 on the outer periphery of a portion (an armature-side end) where the terminal piece 35 of a commutator bar 33 is located. After a crossover 24 and the terminal piece (pawl part for wire connection) 35 of the commutator bar 33 are electrically connected, a sagging step is performed, in which the crossover 24 is sagged by bending an annularly formed electrical connection part 36 toward a shaft 11, thereby reducing diameter. Thus, a play margin of sufficient length can be ensured for the crossover 24 without causing any troubles in a wire connection operation.
