Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that a conventional cable degradation diagnosis method requires a large-scale measuring device and power supply and is unsuitable for field diagnosis because the volume variation is measured with a strain gauge, and a cable such as cable for an elevator that is bent or moved is difficult to be measured by the conventional method.SOLUTION: A strain sensor of the present invention comprises: a strain detection material that is cracked by occurrence of strain; a film coated with the strain detection material; and a support body configured so that one end of each of two tabular bodies that cross each other and are combined so that the relative positions are variable is fixed to the film and the other end is fixed to an adherend.
