FLUIDIZED BED DRYER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluidized bed dryer that can improve efficiency of drying by preventing movement defects of wet fuel between the fluidized beds.SOLUTION: A fluidized bed dryer includes: a drying container 101 provided with a coal input port 102 and a dry coal outlet 103; a distribution plate 109 for defining between an upper drying chamber and a lower air chamber 110 by that a plurality of through-holes are provided and disposed in the drying container 101 horizontally; partition plates 114, 115 dividing the drying chamber to form a plurality of drying chambers 111, 112, 113, and formed of coal passage opening parts 116, 117; division plates 118, 119 dividing the air chamber 110 to form a plurality of air chambers 110a, 110b, 110c, and disposed at the downstream side in the coal flow direction from the partition plates 114, 115; and a fluidization steam supply device for supplying fluidization steam to the air chambers 110a, 110b, 110c so that the superficial velocity becomes higher as the drying chambers 111, 112, 113 of the upstream in the coal flow direction.
