INDOOR UNIT FOR AIR CONDITIONING AND DATA PROCESSING METHOD OF INDOOR UNIT FOR AIR CONDITIONING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor unit for air conditioning capable of appropriately processing information transmitted, as an item number, from a remote control device which manages an item number relating to control of an air conditioner as numerical data of which the number of digits is less than that of the present indoor unit for air conditioning, and a data processing method of the indoor unit for air conditioning.SOLUTION: The indoor unit for air conditioning comprises a storage section and a data processing section. The storage section stores present setting data indicating present setting contents for each item number and data for extension for extending and recognizing the number of digits of numerical data inputted as an item number by a remote control device. When the same data as the data for extension inputted as an item number are acquired from the remote control device, the data processing section combines setting data which are inputted in association with data for extension, with data inputted as an item number subsequently and recognizes the data as the item number.
