SCROLL COMPRESSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly efficient compressor at low costs for keeping a sufficient discharge port area.SOLUTION: A scroll compressor includes: a compression mechanism part having a discharge port formed in an end plate of a fixed scroll to discharge refrigerant compressed in a compression chamber into a discharge pressure space; an electric motor part for driving the compression mechanism part; and a crank shaft for transmitting the rotating force of the electric motor part to the compression mechanism part. The discharge port has a main discharge port formed circular, a preceding opening part formed circular so that part thereof overlaps with the main discharge port and a point corresponding to the winding start angle of the outer wall of a turning scroll lap departs from the inner wall of a fixed scroll lap while stepping over the turning scroll lap and communicating with the compression chamber having a discharge pressure, and a circular chamfer part formed on the counter lap face of the end plate of the fixed scroll to store the main discharge port and the preceding opening part.
