Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nickel fine particle-containing composition, which is useful in uses such as an internal electrode layer of an MLCC and the like, has suppressed heat shrinkage during sintering, and becomes an electrode material having a high sintering initiation temperature.SOLUTION: The nickel fine particle-containing composition contains 65 to 95 mass% of (A) first nickel fine particles having an average particle diameter in the range of 60 to 150 nm as observed by a scanning electron microscope and a variation coefficient of the particle diameter of 0.2 or less, and 5 to 35 mass% of (B) second nickel fine particles having an average particle diameter in the range of 10 to 60 nm as observed by a scanning electron microscope and a variation coefficient of the particle diameter of 0.2 or less, and having a 5% thermal shrinkage temperature higher than the 5% thermal shrinkage temperature of the first nickel fine particles by 50°C or more, wherein ratio of the average particle diameters of the first nickel fine particles and the second nickel fine particles (first nickel fine particles/second nickel fine particles) is 2 or more but 10 or less.
