HORIZONTAL LEVELING APPARATUS FOR WORKPIECE ON TRANSPORT CARRIAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate highly accurate horizontal leveling of a work-piece in a state that a transport carriage stops at a work station.SOLUTION: A transport carriage 1 comprises a work-piece support tool 2 for supporting a work-piece, a pallet 3 for supporting the work-piece support tool 2 from below, and a transport table 4 for supporting the pallet 3 from below. A horizontal leveling apparatus includes, at a work position, an elevation driving device for pushing up the bottom surface 3B of the pallet 3, a work-piece support tool receiving seat 6 displaced slidably between a position right under the lower surface 2B of the work-piece support tool 2 and a position retreated from the position right under the lower surface 2B, and a slide driving device of the work-piece support tool receiving seat 6. In the state that the elevation driving device is moved up to push up the lower surface 3B while the transport carriage 1 is in a stop state, and the work-piece support tool receiving seat 6 is slid to the position right under the lower surface 2B of the work-piece support tool 2 by the slide driving device, the elevation driving device is lowered to place the work support tool 2 on the work support tool receiving seat 6 so that horizontal leveling is performed.
