Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus to rapidly, accurately and repeatedly load a microchannel apparatus that has hundreds or thousands of parallel particulate-containing process channels.SOLUTION: The apparatus comprises a rectangular body, and the body is constructed of a dense material, with a centrally located wedge shaped slot 32. The wedge shaped slot is designed to match the position, length and width of 1+n arrays of microchannels. The slot may be of other shapes. Installed on the bottom of the apparatus is a "sliding floor" that makes flush contact with the bottoms of slotted insert reservoirs.
