THROATING MATERIAL AND EAVES EDGE STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a throating material bringing about the proper property of constructing a nose substrate or an external wall and capable of suppressing immersion of water into a clearance between the nose substrate and an eaves gutter or a clearance between the external wall and the eaves gutter, and an eaves edge structure.SOLUTION: A throating material 50 comprises: fitting parts 53, 57 mounted to an external wall material 14; upper extension parts 54, 58 extending from upper parts of the fitting parts 53, 57; and lower extension parts 55, 59 extending from lower parts of the fitting parts 53, 57 and covering a clearance D between the external wall material 14 and an eaves gutter 60. Here, the throating material 50 allows rainwater E to drop into the eaves gutter 60 by the upper extension parts 54, 58. Moreover, since the throating material 50 restricts the movement of rainwater, it can suppress immersion of rainwater into the clearance between the external wall material 14 and the eaves gutter 60.
