Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of preventing a driving element from being broken and so on when cooling capability decreases since a threshold for an overheat error can be corrected to an optimum value even if high electric power pulse loss such as line flushing is caused during printing operation at a predetermined period.SOLUTION: There is provided a printer which includes a head 1 provided with a plurality of nozzles on a nozzle plane and a plurality of driving elements. The printer includes: fin temperature calculation means 16 of calculating an overheat error temperature for determining that the driving elements have overheated; correction value calculation means 18 of calculating a correction value for the overheat error temperature; determination means 17 of determining that recovering operation for the nozzle plane is in process; a thermistor 3 which detects a temperature of heat radiation fins mounted with the driving elements; and a control part 7 which corrects the overheat error temperature calculated by the fin temperature calculation means 16. The control part 7 determines that the driving elements has an overheat error when the fin temperature detected by the thermistor 3 is higher than the overheat error temperature. |
