NO-PARKING AREA NOTIFICATION DEVICE, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a no-parking area notification device which can make a notification of being in a no-parking area in a more appropriate timing than conventional one.SOLUTION: A no-parking area notification device comprises: position detection means for detecting a position of a vehicle; storage means for storing information about no-parking positions; and notification means for making a notification of being in a no-parking area on the basis of a determination as to whether the vehicle is in a no-parking area made from the position of the vehicle detected by the position detection means and the information about no-parking positions stored in the storage means. It comprises vehicle speed detection means for detecting the speed of the vehicle, and if the vehicle speed detected by the vehicle speed detection means is at a prescribed vehicle speed or faster when the vehicle enters a no-parking area, the notification means suppresses the notification of being in a no-parking area and if it is slower than the prescribed vehicle speed, makes the notification of being in a no-parking area.
