PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soft gelatin capsule whose expiration date is extended compared with an existing soft gelatin capsule containing an omega 3 polyunsaturated fatty acid.SOLUTION: Disclosed is a soft gelatin capsule in which a pharmaceutical formulation comprising at least one omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acid in free acid form or a pharmacologically acceptable derivative thereof contains a gelatin extracted by an extraction process comprising acid pre-treatment process of a collagen source. Preferably, the gelatin to be used is at least one selected from the group consisting of porcine gelatin, bovine gelatin, and fish gelatin. A mixture of these gelatin may be used.
