OPERATION ADAPTATION METHOD OF VEHICLE DEVICE AND PORTABLE TERMINAL, VEHICLE SYSTEM INCLUDING VEHICLE DEVICE AND PORTABLE TERMINAL, PORTABLE TERMINAL, AND INFORMATION CENTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adaptation method for adapting the operation of a vehicle device and a portable terminal regardless of the model and OS of a portable terminal.SOLUTION: A portable terminal 30 accesses an information center 20 by using an address acquired from a vehicle device 10, and requests transmission of a dedicated application 40 capable of operating in its own OS. In response to the transmission request of the portable terminal 30, the information center 20 transmits the dedicated application 40 to the portable terminal 30. By running the dedicated application 40, the portable terminal 30 transmits specific information capable of specifying the model of its own terminal to the information center 20. Based on the specific information thus received, the information center 20 transmits the data for adapting the operation of the vehicle device 10 and the portable terminal 30 to the portable terminal 30. By running the dedicated application 40, the portable terminal 30 transmits the received data to the vehicle device 10. Based on the data received from the portable terminal 30, the vehicle device 10 transmits a command to the portable terminal 30.
