PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a back sheet for a solar battery panel excellent in steam barrier properties, and a solar battery panel including the back sheet for a solar battery panel.SOLUTION: A back sheet 5 for a solar battery panel includes: a first layer 5' containing 5-90 vol.% of a first inorganic laminar compound and 10-95 vol.% of a first resin component (where the volume of the first layer is 100 vol.%); and a resin base material layer 5''. Preferably, the back sheet 5 for a solar battery panel further includes a second layer containing a second inorganic laminar compound. The volume fraction of the inorganic laminar compound in the second layer is in the range of 70-100 vol.% (where the volume of the second layer is 100 vol.%), and is higher by 10 vol.% or more than the volume fraction of the inorganic laminar compound in the first layer.
