Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide inexpensive metal separators for a fuel cell which are capable of sufficiently suppressing an increase in contact resistance and use a smaller amount of noble metal such as gold than conventional ones.SOLUTION: A first separator 14 and a second separator 16 as the metal separators for a fuel cell are laminated on a membrane electrode structure 12 in which a cathode electrode 122 and an anode electrode 124 are provided on both sides of a solid polymer electrolyte membrane 120. The first separator 14 and the second separator 16 are characterized in that: they are molded in a corrugated plate shape having irregularities; a noble metal thin film 147 having a dot pattern with a flat surface is formed on protrusions 144, 145, 164, and 165 of the separators; and each dot of the noble metal thin film 147 is composed of a base part 148, in which an outer peripheral portion 148b is thicker than a central portion 148a and a recess 148c is formed at the central portion 148a, and a filling part 149 filling the recess 148c and having a flat surface 149a. |
