SCROLL COMPRESSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor capable of preventing rotation deviation of a fixed scroll in starting, and capable of securing performance.SOLUTION: A scroll compressor includes a turning scroll having an end plate and a turning lap erected thereon and performing turning motion, and a fixed scroll having an end plate and a fixed lap erected thereon, and a compression chamber is formed between the scrolls by turning the turning scroll without rotating in the state that the laps are meshed with each other. A gap between side surfaces of the laps forming the compression chamber is set to be larger in a section toward the outer periphery than in a section close to the lap center, and a distance from the center of the fixed lap to a fixed inner line side center outermost part which is the outermost peripheral part of the section close to the lap center in the inner line side of the fixed lap is almost equal to a distance from the center of the fixed lap to a fixed outer line side center outermost part in the outer line side of the fixed lap.
