RETRACTABLE WRITING INSTRUMENT WITH CLIP SWITCHING OPERATION FUNCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a clip body from rattling in a direction crossing a barrel axial direction.SOLUTION: A retractable writing instrument comprises: a barrel 10; a slide body 21 which advances and retreats between an advance position and a retreat position along the barrel 10; a clip body 22 which is supported by the slide body 21 and exposed to the outside of the barrel; and a writing part 41 which is projected and retracted in accordance with advancing/retreating of the slide body 21. The retractable writing instrument includes a clip opening/closing operation function in which a portion of the clip body 22 located frontward of a supporting point P of the slide body 21 is detached and opened from the barrel 10 by pressing a portion of the clip body 22 located backward of the supporting point P in an inner diameter direction of the barrel. When the clip body 22 is opened in the retreat position, the portion of the clip body 22 located backward of the supporting point P is engaged with the barrel 10 in a concave-convex manner.
