Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holding device 10 of a light emitting diode substrate with a sufficient heat radiation property that can be applied to a high-output LED substrate 1 and the like.SOLUTION: A first case 11 has a circular through hole 12 for exposing an LED 3 of an LED substrate 1 at a center, and an almost rectangular recess 15 for housing and pressing a frame part 5 of the LED substrate 1, and a wiring groove 18 through which a power source wiring 17 passes, on a back face. The LED substrate 1 is arranged in the recess 15 of the first case 11, and the LED substrate 1 and the power source wiring 17 are sandwiched by the first case 11 and a second case 21. The first case 11 and the second case 21 are formed of alumina ceramic. A groove 22 that can house burrs generated in dicing the LED substrate 1 is provided at a portion of the second case 21 corresponding to a peripheral edge of the LED substrate 1.
