Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a more natural image.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus images a user as an object, generates a captured image, generates a mask image for discriminating a person region indicating the object from a background region indicating others than the person region in a whole region of the generated captured image, binarizes the generated mask image, geometrically transforms the person region of the binarized mask image, performs image processing on a boundary region which is a region near a boundary between the geometrically transformed person region and the background region of the mask image, and combines the image-processed mask image with the captured image. This invention is applicable to a photo sticker preparation apparatus which images a user as an object.
